The Future Group (FG) was established in 1981 and has over the past decades evolved from a regional concern to a truly global entity. Headquartered in Dubai with offices in New York, London and business hubs worldwide, FG today is a holding company that oversees 30 privately held companies across four core sectors spanning five continents. Under Future Group's leadership, those companies now employ over 5000 people and have a collective turnover of approximately USD$1 billion.
Since its inception, FG has realized its vision through greenfield ventures and acquisitions as well as vertical and horizontal integrations. The Group's network of subsidiary businesses now embraces a wide variety of sectors entrepreneurially serving multiple communities.
Future Group has three core divisions; its Operating Businesses, Investment Group and the Family Office. Fouad M. Makhzoumi
Mr. Fouad Makhzoumi has both an undergraduate and Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
In 1984 Mr. Makhzoumi founded Future Pipe Industries with other investors and has been actively involved in the management and development of the business ever since. He became Chief Executive Officer in 1986 and in 2003 his son, Rami Makhzoumi, assumed the role.
Between 1995 and 1997, Mr. Makhzoumi served as acting President of the International Desalination Association and he has been a member of the International Board of the Council on Foreign Relations: US/Middle East Project since 1996. From 1995 until 1998, Mr. Makhzoumi acted as Vice Chairman of the Institute for Social and Economic Policy in the Middle East at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. In 1997 Mr. Makhzoumi founded the Makhzoumi Foundation, a private Lebanese non-profit organization that contributes through its vocational training, health care and micro-credit programs to Lebanese civil society development.
Mr. Makhzoumi has been Executive Chairman of Future Pipe Industries since 2003.
Rami F. Makhzoumi
Mr. Rami Makhzoumi received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Studies from the University of Buckingham in 1998 and in 2003 he achieved the Young Professional Program Executive Diploma from the London Business School.
In January 1999 he assumed the role of Group Vice - President, Business Development for Future Pipe Industries. In 2001, he became the Chief Operating Officer of the company until October 2003 when he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer.
Rami Makhzoumi has led the drive to change the organization from within by launching a group-wide restructuring effort known as “The Evolution and Revolution” Strategic Initiatives. Since his appointment, he has managed to expand the business into new segments and territories, and has more than tripled the sales of the group. He has grown the bottom line at even higher rates, by virtue of his migration of the Group into a Global Operating Model, and the application of innovative management techniques.
He is currently a lifetime member of the Institute of Directors UK, a member of the Arab-Deutsche Chamber of Commerce, a member of the International Desalination Association, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. In addition, Mr. Makhzoumi serves as a Regional Board Member of the Young Arab Leaders and is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Mr. Makhzoumi is a featured speaker at numerous Family Business Forums, Regional Leadership conferences, as well as on Socio-Economic based programs. In addition to his business posts he also sits as Vice-President of the Makhzoumi Foundation, a philanthropic organization, based in Lebanon, which through its vocational, micro-credit, health and awareness programs has seen over 75,000 beneficiaries.
Dr. Omar Ashur
Dr. Omar Ashur completed his undergraduate education in Physics at the American University of Beirut and also holds an MBA in Finance, an MA in Business Economics and a PhD in Business Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
He joined Future Pipe Industries, part of the Future Group, in 1995 as a Group Vice President of Finance and in 2000 he was appointed Executive Vice President of Gulf Eternit Industries. Following that, in 2003, Dr. Ashur became the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) where he was responsible for leading and directing all of the Group's financial activities.
Prior to joining Future Pipe Industries, Dr. Ashur held various leadership positions with Petrogas (UK) Limited, Anglokindom (UK) Limited, and Mediterranee Investors Group SA.
Dr. Omar Ashur took up his current position of Chief Financial Officer of the Future Group in July 2009 and he continues to serve on the Board of Future Pipe Industries Group as Non-executive Director.
Michael N. Dakin
Michael N. Dakin joined the Future Group (FG) in August 2009 in the capacity of Chief Legal Officer (CLO). In this capacity, Mr. Dakin is responsible for directing all of the Group's legal activities.
Prior to joining the Future Group, Mr. Dakin was a Partner of Clifford Chance, one of the world's leading and largest law firms where he worked with FG for nearly two years as an external legal advisor to Future Pipe Industries and the Future Group prior to his appointment as CLO.
Mr. Dakin began his career in law as an associate with U.S. law firm Cahill Gordon & Reindel before he moved to Clifford Chance in 2005 to become a partner. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Political Science and Economics from Tufts University and graduated (cum laude) from the Fordham University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate. Michael is a Member of the New York and Massachusetts (inactive) bars.
Claudio Villa
Claudio Villa is the CEO of the investments division of Future Group. With over 15 years of experience in investment banking, working for UBS and Deutsche Bank, Mr. Villa has been with FG since January 2009.
During his career, Mr. Villa has advised on over US $30bn of equity and debt transactions for US, European and Middle East clients. With extensive transaction experience, Mr. Villa has worked across a range of sectors such as Financial Institutions, Utilities, Telecom and Technology. At Deutsche Bank, he was recently responsible for the execution of equity transactions in the Middle East.
Mr. Villa holds a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and Management and a Masters degree in Finance from the University of London.
Mazen Turk
Mr. Mazen Turk joined the Group in 2003 as the General Manager of Future Pipe Industries’ Gulfport Mississippi manufacturing facility where he was instrumental in getting the business unit started despite the setbacks posed by Hurricane Katrina. He was subsequently promoted to the position of Vice President of Business Development for the US operations based out of Washington DC and moved to Dubai in 2008 in the capacity of Vice President for Future Group.
Mr. Turk holds a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from the University of West Virginia. He recently completed an intensive investor relations program at the IR Society in the UK and has received their Certificate in Investor Relations.
Prior to joining the Group, Mr. Turk spent eight years as a consultant engineer involved in the planning, design and execution of civil engineering projects in the United States and the Middle East, for both the public and private sectors.
Toufic Farah
Toufic Farah joined Future Group in December 2008 in the capacity of Vice President.
Prior to joining the Future Group, Toufic most recently held the position of Credit Hedge Fund Sales Vice President at Goldman Sachs International based in London, United Kingdom. He brings close to ten years of international investment banking experience to the Future Group having worked for J.P Morgan and Goldman Sachs International in London.
Toufic holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Insurance and Investment from the City University Business School in the United Kingdom.

Future Industrials is the industrial manufacturing arm of the Future Group and its primary subsidiary is the Future Pipe Industries Group (FPI).

Imad Makhzoumi
Mr. Imad Makhzoumi completed his undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering and Water Resource Management at the University of Southern California in the United States and holds a diploma in Business from McGill University in Canada.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Makhzoumi spent several years in the pipe business in the USA and Canada working through various disciplines, departments and ranks.
Mr. Makhzoumi joined Future Pipe Industries in 1989 as an Engineer. In 1994, he assumed the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the UAE and became Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the GCC and Asia in 2005. In his current role as the Senior Vice President for Group Sales & Marketing, he is responsible for leading the global sales and marketing team to ensure the Group’s global revenue and market share targets are met.
In addition to his role as Senior Vice President for Group Sales and Marketing, Mr. Imad Makhzoumi was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Future Pipe Industries Group in February 2009. In this role he is responsible for directing all of the company’s operational and commercial activities for the four key functions of the company, namely Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing, Technical and Engineering Developments and Supply Chain Management, as well as the Country Heads.
Hafiz Ladha
Mr. Hafiz Ladha joined Future Pipe Industries Group in 2005 in the capacity of Corporate Strategy and Planning Officer and was promoted to Chief of Corporate and Strategic Affairs in 2008. In this role he was responsible for developing and driving the corporate strategy and vision of FPI.
He was promoted to Chief Financial Officer of the Group in June 2009 and in his current capacity Mr. Ladha is responsible for directing all of the company's financial activities reporting to the President and CEO.
Mr. Hafiz Ladha holds a Bachelors degree in Systems Design Engineering and a Minor in Management Sciences from the University of Waterloo in Canada as well as an MBA specializing in Finance from the London Business School.
Prior to joining FPI, he gained extensive experience in consulting, finance and industry within a number of multinational organizations including Proctor and Gamble, Kraft Foods, Banc of America Securities and Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Future Engineering is the Group’s specialist engineering services division. The division’s primary subsidiary, the EMEA Engineering Group, is an integrated engineering services company providing world-class environmental studies, engineering and project management services across a broad spectrum of Civil, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas and Industrial sectors. EMEA comprises of two specialist companies with a combined experience of over 50 years with offices in the Middle East and Greece.
ENOIA
ENOIA has provided engineering, process design, consultancy and project management services to the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries since 1987. Its services include both downstream and upstream, starting with flow lines. Typical projects include GOSP, loading terminals, cooling water systems, fuel tank farms, crude units, steam and boiler systems, fire-fighting pipelines, natural gas pipelines, crude pipelines, upgrading power plants and refinery automation.

Dionissis Davios
Dionissis Davios is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of the ENOIA Engineering S.A. which was established in 1987. He is also Partner and Managing Director of the EMEA Engineering Group.
Mr. Davios has over 28 years of international experience in major industrial projects, mainly in the Oil & Gas and Hydrocarbons Processing Industry. Prior to founding ENOIA, he worked for seven years as a Process Engineering/Coordinator at a Foster Wheeler affiliated company and was a Project Manager for major industrial projects.
Dionissis Davios is a graduate from the Institute of Petroleum and Gases in Romania and holds a Masters of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. He is a Member of the Association of Chemicals Engineers and of Technical Chamber of Greece.
Future Realty is the real estate and construction management arm of the Group. Its mission is to develop innovative real estate investment/development opportunities that have at their core a purpose of functionally and aesthetically elevating their host communities.

Antoine Habib
Antoine Habib is the Executive President of Future Realty SAL, part of the Future Group, responsible for managing all real estate projects under development in Lebanon and abroad.
Prior to joining FG in October 2008, Mr. Habib spent more than twenty years with Future Pipe Industries, part of the Future Group both in Dubai and in Lebanon. He joined in 1987 as Vice President Sales and Marketing for Gulf Eternit Industries, the Group’s first factory in Dubai and moved to Lebanon in 1995 to manage Future Pipe Industries’ expansion into the country. In his capacity of Executive Vice President, he managed the establishment and developed new markets in the Levant Area and Europe. In 2003 he took over as Regional President for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia in charge of the Group’s plants in Lebanon, Egypt and The Netherlands.
In addition to his current position as Executive President of Future Realty SAS, Mr. Habib holds the role of Future Pipe Group Consultant for Business Development and serves as a Board Member of the EMEA Engineering Group, part of FG.
Mr. Habib holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon, is a Board Member of the Lebanese Dutch Business Association, a member of the Lebanese Industrialist Association and the Lebanese Economic Forum and is also a member of the IDA, the International Desalination Association).
Future Investments is the investment arm of Future Group. Its mission is to manage the Family’s wealth outside of the key operating business lines, under the following guidelines:.
To preserve the Family’s wealth by managing the Family’s assets with a view to a long term holding
To grow the Family’s wealth through alternative investments: manage investments with a view to exit within 3-5 years in various sectors and in different regions.
Any investment is undertaken in keeping with the Family’s values and vision. Investments are implemented in compliance with the principles of Shari’a law. Future Luxury is the fashion and luxury goods arm of the Group, committed to providing high quality luxury goods with a difference. Its mission is to build a tastemaking portfolio and to contribute its own contemporary flavor to the world of luxury goods and services.
Future Luxury’s aim is to invest in, and provide, new brands and products as well as innovative technologies to the luxury customer of today, and tomorrow. It is not necessarily about investing in mega-brands; more emphasis is placed on finding the right niche players that offer new brands, products and services to either the traditionally wealthy or the new and upcoming luxury consumer.
One of its first ventures is Guilty Brotherhood, a luxury prêt-a-porter fashion house founded by young and gifted Parisian designer Kevork Kiledjian. With headquarters based in New York and Paris, Guilty Brotherhood exemplifies and fuses the pulse of the modern city and the desires of the modern woman in a leitmotif that is both cosmopolitan and individualistic. Chairman Fouad M. Makhzoumi believed strongly that it was important for the Future Group to work towards the empowerment of society by getting involved with the community. The Family put this belief to work and created The Makhzoumi Foundation in Lebanon in 1998.
The Makhzoumi Foundation
The Makhzoumi Foundation was established with the aim of contributing through its programs to the development of the civil society. It works towards the Evolution of the Lebanese Civil Society, Enhancement of the Potentials of Lebanese Human Resources, Enforcement of Self-Responsibility & Independence, Emphasizing the Importance of Environmental Preservation, Encouraging the Quest of Education and Encompassing Good Health Care.
The Group spearheads welfare efforts in Lebanon through a range of well thought out philanthropic activities that support humanitarian causes, and provides services through different programs: The Civic Centers Training Program, The Micro Credit Program, The Health Care Program, The Awareness Program and Agriculture/Environment Program.
The Foundation is well known for work done towards the welfare of Lebanese families and its emphasis on programs that lead to higher income and better social welfare for the beneficiaries. The Micro Credit Program is an outstanding example, having been launched to help underprivileged Lebanese families start, or expand, small businesses through Micro loans made available on the basis of their character and sound planning rather than financial collateral. Up to date the program has disbursed loans with a cumulative of nearly $4,000,000 covering over 4500 loans contributing to the improvement of the beneficiaries’ economic status. The Foundation is a member of SANABEL which is a membership-driven regional network created in 2002 to serve microfinance institutions in the Arab world. Also, the Foundation publishes its information on the Mix Market platform and has been awarded a 2-Diamond Certificate of Transparency since joining in 2008.
The Makhzoumi Foundation also operates training and civic centers in which thousands of Lebanese citizens are provided with subsidized training in different specialties; Computer and Internet Skills, Languages, Beauty, Vocational, Various Administrative and Accounting Courses, as well as Arabic literacy, in addition to occasional courses and workshops. The Foundation's certificates are accredited by Microsoft and it is a member of the Microsoft IT Academy Program and a Microsoft Office Specialist Authorized Testing Center. In addition, Makhzoumi Foundation has become an approved ETS Certified Test Administration Site for TOEFL iBT.
Makhzoumi Foundation is also accredited by LCCI (The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry) which provides International Qualification Diplomas that include courses in Business Administration, Managerial Principles, Marketing and Management, Accounting and Secretarial Studies.
Government bodies, the Internal Security Forces of Lebanon, the Republican Guards, the National Council for Social Security, and Civil Society have taken advantage of this opportunity to train their personnel in computer techniques and in the English Language. Over 80,000 certificates have been issued contributing to the enhancement of the beneficiaries skills.
The Awareness Program aims at disseminating information and knowledge and raising awareness on issues of public concern at mobilizing potentials and building capacities through implementation of different projects on Democracy and Human right issues in partnership with local and international bodies. To date, 21,500 Lebanese citizens of different categories and ages have benefited from the program.
The Agriculture/Environment Program aims to preserve and care for the Environment, the Sustainable Agriculture and the Management of Natural Resources in a way that ensures that their benefits are also available in the future. This program includes several activities and projects with a view of protection, preservation and improvement of the environment and the agricultural sector in the country. 3400 citizens benefited from the program (Farmers-students-women) in 170 locations (Municipalities-NGOs-Regions, Schools), and 135,500 trees were distributed from 2002 till date.
The Health Care Program aims at creating a healthcare network providing Lebanese citizens with medical care at the least possible cost. In addition, the Foundation’s Health Clinics provide medical checkups, laboratory tests, X-rays & ultrasounds, mammography, instant diabetes tests, blood type tests, children vaccines and maternity social services, as well as the Foundation’s pharmacy that provides medicines at subsidized prices.

Mrs. May Makhzoumi
Mrs. May Makhzoumi is the President of the Makhzoumi Foundation, which was established in 1998 with the aim to create opportunities for the people of Lebanon. The Foundation spearheads welfare efforts in Lebanon through a range of well thought out philanthropic activities that support humanitarian causes, provide educational and vocational training, and offer financial assistance to young entrepreneurs - all aimed at creating social wealth and capital for the community.
In 1975, May Makhzoumi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and got married the same year to Mr. Fouad Makhzoumi. She started her career as a Pharmacist and worked in Beirut, Lebanon and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In addition to her role as the President of the Makhzoumi Foundation, May Makhzoumi also holds the position of Chairperson for Future Management Services in London, she serves as a Member of the Board for a number of companies and is the Director of the Residents Association of buildings in both London, UK and Beirut, Lebanon.
Future Visual Arts is the artistic investment division of Future Group and has been created upon the principle of supporting and nurturing talent from the Middle Eastern region across the arts.
Through the investment in visual arts projects, the Group aims to support and encourage regional talent and strives to promote the region’s rich culture and heritage in order to stimulate dialogue and break down any barriers that may exist across cultures and countries.

Fouad M. Makhzoumi
Mr. Fouad Makhzoumi has both an undergraduate and Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
In 1984 Mr. Makhzoumi founded Future Pipe Industries with other investors and has been actively involved in the management and development of the business ever since. He became Chief Executive Officer in 1986 and in 2003 his son, Rami Makhzoumi, assumed the role.
Between 1995 and 1997, Mr. Makhzoumi served as acting President of the International Desalination Association and he has been a member of the International Board of the Council on Foreign Relations: US/Middle East Project since 1996. From 1995 until 1998, Mr. Makhzoumi acted as Vice Chairman of the Institute for Social and Economic Policy in the Middle East at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. In 1997 Mr. Makhzoumi founded the Makhzoumi Foundation, a private Lebanese non-profit organization that contributes through its vocational training, health care and micro-credit programs to Lebanese civil society development.
Mr. Makhzoumi has been Executive Chairman of Future Pipe Industries since 2003.
Rami F. Makhzoumi
Mr. Rami Makhzoumi received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Studies from the University of Buckingham in 1998 and in 2003 he achieved the Young Professional Program Executive Diploma from the London Business School.
In January 1999 he assumed the role of Group Vice - President, Business Development for Future Pipe Industries. In 2001, he became the Chief Operating Officer of the company until October 2003 when he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer.
Rami Makhzoumi has led the drive to change the organization from within by launching a group-wide restructuring effort known as “The Evolution and Revolution” Strategic Initiatives. Since his appointment, he has managed to expand the business into new segments and territories, and has more than tripled the sales of the group. He has grown the bottom line at even higher rates, by virtue of his migration of the Group into a Global Operating Model, and the application of innovative management techniques.
He is currently a lifetime member of the Institute of Directors UK, a member of the Arab-Deutsche Chamber of Commerce, a member of the International Desalination Association, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. In addition, Mr. Makhzoumi serves as a Regional Board Member of the Young Arab Leaders and is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Mr. Makhzoumi is a featured speaker at numerous Family Business Forums, Regional Leadership conferences, as well as on Socio-Economic based programs. In addition to his business posts he also sits as Vice-President of the Makhzoumi Foundation, a philanthropic organization, based in Lebanon, which through its vocational, micro-credit, health and awareness programs has seen over 75,000 beneficiaries.
